CAC INTERVIU “conversation about art” was a bilingual (Lithuanian & English) interview based publication — also containing editorials, book reviews, and an artist’s project — focused on covering the Baltic region with a view to topical events that impact on art produced internationally published between 2005 and 2015. Distributed via direct mail and available for free at partner institutions in major cities all over the world CAC Interviu was a leading source of information about art, cultural events, and cultural debate from post-soviet Europe (with a unique Lithuanian perspective). In concert with the acclaimed alternative broadcast project CAC TV the journal aimed to keep the Contemporary Art Centre at the forefront of institutional cultural production, and art and writing produced in Lithuania in the international spotlight.

CAC Interviu was available at a number important institutions, including Contemporary Art Centre (Vilnius), Open Society Foundation (Vilnius), libraries of the universities in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys (Lithuania), CCA Wattis Institute (San Francisco), Chapter (Cardiff), De Appel (Amsterdam), Frankfurter Kunstverein (Frankfurt a.M.), Index (Stockholm), Institute of Contemporary Art (London), Kunstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin), LCCA (Riga), National Centre of Contemporary Art (Moscow), Transmission Gallery (Glasgow), Witte de With (Rotterdam) and Zacheta National Gallery of Art (Warsaw) among others.
