'Proper (Vilnius date)' was a collaboration project between six artists to develop and expand the series of exhibitions 'Proper (Blind Date)' that took place between 1998 and 1999 at the Titanik Gallery in Turku, Finland.

The first series consisted of three exhibitions based on the principle of dialogue and commentary - one artist commented on another one’s work. The second stage of the exhibition took place at the CAC in Vilnius, but here a situation of reverse commentary was created: commentaries were made by the artists whose work had been commented on in the first part.

A new participant in the second part of the exhibition was the Lithuanian artist Gintaras Makarevičius.
