Cinema
The CAC Cinema, an isolated space with a distinctive design, is used for film and video screenings and other events. Many of its programmes are linked directly to exhibitions taking place at the CAC, while other programmes are curated by artists, guest curators and programming directors of assorted cinema festivals.

When the Contemporary Art Centre was established in the former building of the Palace of Exhibitions in 1992, the original Cinema still operated for a while as a semi-independent institution but throughout 2000s it was used primarily as an exhibition venue. In 2012, during the Baltic Triennial, its initial purpose was restored and the original interior design by Vytautas Čekanauskas (a large part of which is preserved but "hidden") was transformed through the project by architects Audrius Bučas and Valdas Ozarinskas. The current layout accommodates up to one hundred seats.
