The Contemporary Art Centre (CAC), Vilnius and Swedbank are excited to launch the exhibition of the Swedbank Art Award 2009 on

The exhibition presents the work of: Russian video artist Viktor Alimpiev; Lithuanian painter Jonas Gasiūnas, Latvian installation and sound artist Voldemārs Johansons , Estonian painter Tõnis Saadoja, and Swedish video artist and animator Magnus Wallin.


The Swedbank Art Award 2009 was given to Lithuanian artist Jonas Gasiūnas, and the CAC made a decision, in partnership with Swedbank, to bring the latest award exhibition from Riga Art Space in Latvia to give Vilnius audiences an opportunity to reflect upon Gasiūnas' achievement and experience the other dynamic and challenging art works in the exhibition.
